"Iveria - A Song and Dance Performance" at Crossroads Community Center in Bellevue - Monday, March 25th 2013 from 10:30-11:30am

" Iveria - featuring Georgian Cossack dance and song, will present a free performance on Monday, March 25, 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Crossroads Community Center, 16000 NE 10th Street, Bellevue WA 98008. 

Iveria was founded in St. Petersburg in 2002 within the Georgian community.  Lead by director David Russia and choreographer Irakli Rusiya, the aim of the ensemble is to familiarize audiences with Georgian folk art and to impart to children a sense of tolerance and respect for other cultures.  The ensemble's repertoire includes songs and dances from almost all regions of Georgia.  Iveria is distinguished by its traditional, authentic approach which was the original idea of the ensemble. "
