Make
your way over and see the free outdoor performances of "Tales from the
Woods", an original play written by Beth Peterson and performed by
students of Everett Community College with the help of some familiar
character puppets!
" Live
actors (students from Everett Community College) and puppets tell the
tale of Tom Thumb, who wanders into an enchanted wood while searching
for a way home. Lost in the forest, he encounters Frog Prince, Little
Red Riding Hood, Grandma, the Big Bad Wolf and a gang of hoods who want
to take him prisoner. With the help of the magical fairies of the
woods, Tom and the woodland inhabitants learn the importance of harmony,
friendship, family and the way home. "
Blankets and chairs recommended.
Performances will take place at 6:30pm (rain or shine):
at Everett CC next to Jackson Center on August 6th and 13th
&
at Forest Park at the indoor theater
on August 11th and 21st
