Kiwanis Club of Kirkland Hosts 40th Annual Easter Egg Hunt for Kirkland Community at Peter Kirk Park - Sunday, April 5th 2015 at 1:30pm

This is a free community event featuring 30,000 eggs and some Easter/Spring characters for kids ages 1-12 divided into 3 ages groups!

Northwest Bookfest with 100+ authors and a lot more in downtown Kirkland - Saturday and Sunday, September 22nd and 23rd 2012 from 10am-6pm both days!


Head to Northwest Bookfest in downtown Kirkland and meet 100+ authors, enjoy 50+ writing workshops, a children's story tent, activities and more!




" Celebrate the literary arts at Northwest Bookfest, where readers, writers, publishers and authors connect for a jam-packed weekend of workshops, panels, classes and author readings. This family-friendly event features dozens of author appearances and book signings, scores of exhibitors and booksellers, readings on multiple stages, storytellers and hands-on activities for kids, live music and a delicious variety of food and drink for sale. All events are free and open to the public. "

Event will be held in Peter Kirk Park and the surrounding buildings.

Northwest Bookfest at Peter Kirk Park in downtown Kirkland - Saturday & Sunday, October 1st and 2nd - from 10am-6pm both days!


Northwest Bookfest is here and will be featuring over fifty author panels, hundreds of authors, writing and publishing workshops, family programs and more! One of the family programs will be performances by the aerial acrobatic group The Cabiri who will be setting up their stunning aerial dance stage Daedalus near the Exhibitors area and presenting 20-minute mythological performances on Saturday only at 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.  Their family-friendly aerial acrobatics will take your breath away! This and more at the Northwest Bookfest. Take the kids, check it out and have fun!

This is a free event but donations are accepted. (Suggested donation: $5 per person; $10 per family)
