Edmonds Classic Car Show with 300+ cars, plus FREE pinewood derby car kits for the kids and more - Sunday, September 7th 2014 from 10am-8pm

Downtown Edmonds comes alive on Sunday, September 7^th with 10,000 spectators “oohing and ahhing” over the 300+ classic cars that fill the streets.  This event is for the whole family, from the hardcore gearhead to the smallest child, everyone will have a great time at the Edmonds Classic Car Show.

• 10:00-8:00 pm – Beer Garden

 • 5:00-8:00 pm – Live Music

Featured this year:

• Kids World will have midget racecars the kids are allowed to climb all over and FREE pinewood

 derby car kits to build, paint and race on the  pinewood derby track.

• New this year is a Beer Garden for the adults, bring your ID and visit the garden

 from 10:00-8:00 pm.  The garden will also feature live music from 5:00-8:00 pm.

• Nitro Dragsters will fire up their engines to rattle the windows and wow the crowd.

 Get ready to plug your ears at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

• Vote for your favorite cars and raise money for charity at the same time, each vote for

 costs $1 with all money benefitting the Edmonds Food Bank.  Last year we raised $900.

Bell Street Rendezvous with Classic Boats and Cars at Pier 66 in Seattle - Saturday and Sunday, June 14th and 15th 2014 from 10am-4pm - with a casual yacht parade happening today, Friday, June 13th 2014 from 2-4pm as the yachts arrive!

Something very nice to do on Father's Day!

" The Pacific Northwest Fleet of the Classic Yacht Association in conjunction with the Port of Seattle will once again sponsor the Bell Street Pier Classic Rendezvous as part of the Seattle Waterfront Classic Weekend, June 14 and 15 at Pier 66 on Seattle's downtown waterfront.  Over forty classic motor yachts, many of them built prior to World War II, will welcome visitors throughout this Father's Day weekend.  This event represents the largest gathering of classic yachts on the West Coast.  The yachts will be joined by dozens of classic automobiles that will be on display on the pier. Admission to all show sites is complimentary.

...On Friday June 13th, 2014 the classic yachts will participate in a Sail-In Parade along the waterfront prior to their arrival at Bell Harbor at 4 pm.  An excellent view of the yacht parade will be available from Myrtle Edwards Park or from any of the downtown piers between 2 and 4 pm.  "

CRUZIN' TO COLBY EVENT IN DOWNTOWN EVERETT - CRUISE ON SUNDAY, MAY 25TH AND CAR SHOW ON MONDAY, MAY 26TH 2014 - VARIOUS TIMES

"Cruise" on Colby Avenue in downtown Everett happens tomorrow from 1-5:00pm where you can watch 400+ classic cars, hot rods and more "in action" cruising down the strip. On Sunday, more than 600+ cars will park for "Show n' Shine" from 8am to 4pm. There will also be music, entertainment, booths, food, an awards presentation and more!

Head over to Duvall and check out The Big Rock Classic Car and Cycle Show today. It is a free event with tons of beautiful vintage cars and motorcycles to see. Plus, there will be all kinds of food available for purchase and raffle tickets too for some great prizes. All proceeds will go to Prostate Cancer Research.

The show's producer, Roger himself, has told me that "Lightning McQueen" will also be there. So go check it out with kids. The beautiful sunshine is finally here and it's a great way to spend the day!
