Cupcakes and Havdalah This Weekend!

Saturday, February 7, 5:30-7 p.m. Join us this weekend to celebrate Havdalah with cupcakes and cocoa! We'll have crafts, music, and a Havdalah service to commemorate the end of Shabbat. Snacks and cupcakes will be provided, and gluten-free options will be available. Recommended for families with kids of all ages. FREE!

"Hanukkah Under the Stars" featuring Recess Monkey and more at SJCC on Mercer Island - Saturday, December 15th 2012 from 5:30-7:30pm - RSVP

Hanukkah Under the Stars will feature the kids band Recess Monkey, The Sababas, PJ Library, arts and crafts and a community candle lighting.

Dinner can be purchased from Stopsky's Delicatessen (potato latkes), Island Crust Cafe (Va'ad Kosher), Kosher Chinese, and Street Donuts.

Items needing to be donated include:  

toothpaste

 toothbrushes

deodorant

shampoo

  soap

SJCC Purim Carnival on Mercer Island - Sunday, March 4th 2012 from 12-3pm

Head to the Stroum Jewish Community Center's Purim Carnival! There will be “Purim Land” for kids 5 and younger, storytime, music and entertainment, costume contest and prizes, games, bouncy houses, face painting and more! Some things are free and some will require a small fee.

Hamantaschen and lunch available for purchase.

Attend "Hanukkah Under the Stars featuring the "The Not-Its" with opening acts PJ Library and The Sababas!

If you like, you can purchase dinner from Stopsky's Delicatessen, Island Crust Pizza or Kosher Chinese.

This event will be held at the Stroum Jewish Community Center - Mercer Island Campus.


Free admission with donation of oil for the JFS Food Bank.
