"Clash: Encounters of Bears and Wolves" (Nature Movie) at the Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center in Bellevue - Friday, January 30th 2015 from 5-6pm

    " Did you know that there are at least 50,000 coyotes that roam Washington State?  Urban coyote problems are growing, with the first recorded attack on a human in Washington in 2006 in Bellevue (coyotes had been deliberately fed by people).  Also, wolves are making a comeback in Washington!  Learn about coyote and wolf identification, ecology and how to prevent conflicts if you encounter a coyote or a wolf. "

    "Wolves – A Legend Returns to Yellowstone" - a free movie presented at the Mercer Slough Environmental and Education Center (MSEEC) - Friday, June 29th 2012 at 5pm


    Go and see another educational movie (this one is about wolves) in the Douglas Fir Community Room at the MSEEC!


    " After decades of absence from America’s first National Park, gray wolves were reintroduced into Yellowstone in the 1990s. The return brought excitement, but also controversy.  "

    I have been wanting to put up a hummingbird feeder because these birds are fascinating. You and the kids can learn all about them at the "Hummingbirds - Magic in the Air" movie at the MSEEC in Bellevue.

    " Get an up-close view into the lives of hummingbirds, one of nature’s fastest creatures. Using high-speed cameras, behaviors that are otherwise impossible to appreciate come into full (and sometimes iridescent) light. Approx. 70 min. "
