" The fight will start at 2:10 on the dot. 


Gather around the guy dressed as a Viking on top of the hill near the water fountain at Cal Anderson Park. 

I'll blow a whistle when we start.
Bring your own pillow(s)

Pillows fly and teddies soar as you converge for a giant urban pillow fight! Swing and whack as you evade pillow-wielding assailants. Bring a soft pillow and wait for the signal. Pillow fight!

Rules: Please follow these guidelines to ensure a safe and fun pillow fight for everybody!
+ Soft, feather-free pillows only! 
+ Swing lightly, many people will be swinging at once. 
+ Do not swing at people without pillows or with cameras. 
+ Remove glasses beforehand! 
+ Take pillows with you or throw them away in trash/trashbags

Seahawks vs New Orleans on the VERY BIG SCREEN at the Seattle Central Library with FREE Seahawks promo items and free cookies too! - Saturday, January 11th 2014 - Doors open to the event at 1pm Kickoff at 1:35pm





And when they say big screen they mean BIG SCREEN!

Watch the Seahawks playoff game against the New Orleans Saints on the big screen.

The Library will get fans in the spirit by offering football-shaped cookies and free Seahawks promotional items (limited numbers). Library staff members will be wearing their Seahawks jerseys.

Auditorium doors open at 1 p.m., kickoff is at 1:35 p.m. "

" SIFF Crash Kids is a movie production challenge, taking participants from concept to screening in one day. Crash Kids is free and open to anyone 9-19 years of age. It is a make-a-movie-in-a-day, non-competitive challenge. It’s about having fun, making a movie and seeing it on the big screen. The script is developed on the spot by your Crash team and you design your story based on your team’s resources. "

The Native American Student Association presents the 27th Annual Powwow.

 

 

 



Edmonds Community College’s Native American Student Association will host the 27th annual powwow, “Echoes of Our Ancestors,” May 4-6. The powwow brings together students, alumni, families and the community to celebrate Native American singing, drumming, and dancing.  Food and arts and crafts vendors will be present all weekend.


Best time to watch as a spectator are during the Grand Entries at:

7 pm on Friday
1 pm and 7 pm on Saturday (native storytelling 5-7 pm at intermission)
1 pm on Sunday

This event is free and open to the public!

Event will be held in the Seaview Gym at 20000 68th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.

"Chalk Play" event at the Plant Farm in Marysville - Saturday, February 18th 2012 from 11am-3pm


Let a 38,000 square feet concrete floor be your canvas at this all ages chalk drawing event in Marysville!

" Join us for a day of fun, play, color and chalk! The wonderful people of FEEL Artistic! from Mill Creek, WA (www.FEELartistic.org) are joining us to celebrate the coming of spring and the joy of being creative by helping you decorate our 38,000 square foot of our covered concrete flooring with fun and playful chalk art. 

This exciting event is open for all ages. Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa don't be shy, join in the fun too! (You are not required to bring a child along to participate.) FEEL Artistic! will start us off with a short instructional class in the intro to chalk art at 11:00 a.m. Attending the class is not necessary to participate. We will supply the chalk and floor, you can supply the creativity. Since the floor is concrete, we recommend bringing a kneeling pad or a blanket for padding.

 
All classes are free unless otherwise noted. Registration is not required, unless otherwise noted, but is appreciated: We want to make sure we have room for everyone! "
