Spirit of Indigenous People Festival at Seattle Center - Saturday, May 30th 2015 from 11:30-5pm





" Join us on Saturday, May 30th from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Seattle Center for Seattle Indian Health Board's Spirit of Indigenous People Festival. The event celebrates American Indian and Alaska Native culture with Native performers, music, food, speakers, workshops, health & wellness information, a Native art exhibit, and a Pow Wow. "

5th Annual Healthy Kids Healthy Families Fair featuring a Caspar Babypants performance, activities, exhibits, a Teddy Bear Clinic, demos, raffles, lectures and more at Bellevue College - Saturday, February 7th 2015 from 10am-2pm






" A free community event featuring exhibits, Teddy Bear Clinic, Ask-the-Doc, demonstrations, healthy snacks, creative activities, lectures, a raffle and much more!


With special musical guest:
CASPAR BABYPANTS
Performing at 10:30 a.m.


Please join us for this FREE, fun-filled event which focuses on the health of you and your family. The fair includes creative activities for children, exhibits, Ask-the-Doc, healthy snacks, a raffle and MUCH MORE. Mini lectures will be given throughout the day by Swedish Issaquah physicians and Bellevue College Parent Education Instructors. Your little one will want to bring a puffed lovey or doll for the Teddy Bear clinic. There will also be a main stage performance by Caspar Babypants at 10:30 a.m. 


The first 200 attendees will receive a free re-usable bag. "

Northshore Fire Dept. Open House with FREE Pancake Breakfast, Health and Safety Fair, Firefighter Demos and more in Kenmore - Saturday, June 14th 2014 from 9am-12pm


Ohhh...what fun!

Pancake Breadfast" On June 14, 2014 the Northshore Fire Department will be hosting an Open House at their headquarters fire station. The fire station is located at 7220 NE 181st St. in Kenmore. The event will run from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm and will include a free pancake breakfast (9:00 to 11:00), a health and safety fair and live firefighter demonstrations. There will also be an area with activities for kids and an opportunity to tour the fire engine, aid car and rescue truck. Don’t miss the dramatic side-by-side live burn sprinkler demonstration.  The safety fair will include: Bastyr University, Puget Sound Energy, Seattle-King County Health, King County Library and many more exhibitors with valuable health and safety information. "

" Ask questions and get answers to help you and your family live to your healthiest best! Meet the EvergreenHealth staff and others from our community who can be resources for your family’s health and well being.
At this year’s fair, you can be Your Healthiest Best by:
  • participating in Safe Kids Eastside’s custom helmet fittings and a helmet giveaway for children
  • sampling delicious, healthy recipes such as Grilled Vegetable-Hummus Flat Bread, Gluten-Free Seed-Rich Energy Bars and Massaged Kale Salad
  • teaching your kids that being active can be fun (Lego building! Face painting! Music! Kinect games!)
  • having your children bring their favorite teddy bear for a checkup in an emergency service vehicle
  • experiencing the inflatable colon
  • learning about personal preparedness, fire safety, pet safety and disaster preparedness
  • shopping for fresh fruits, veggies and more in our mini farmers market
  • picking up health-and-wellness tips and resources from our interactive booths

Complimentary Health Screenings

Complimentary biometric health screenings are being offered from 8 -11 a.m. to measure blood glucose, lipids (cholesterol) and blood pressure. These screenings require that you fast (no food or drink after midnight).

Seattle Children's Health Fair with a Johnny Bregar performance, Teddy Bear Clinic, Operating Room Tour and lots more at Seattle Children's Hospital in Seattle - Saturday, March 8th 2014 from 10am-2pm


What a great event for you and the little ones to attend...lots of fun as well as informative! Don't forget to bring the doll or teddy bear!

" Seattle Children's annual Health Fair is a free, hands-on community event.

With games, hands-on activities, contests, crafts and music, we'll answer kids' and families' questions about their health, safety and bodies. Bring your favorite stuffed animal or doll for a check-up at the Teddy Bear Clinic, explore inside an ambulance, learn about heart health and healthy eating and much more!
