" Join us for another extra special WFamily Fun Day in partnership with the King Country Library System on Thursday, August 1st at 11am near the PlaySpace.

Marco Cortes will be singing songs and sharing stories all about dinosaurs! Enjoy songs in Spanish and English while learning about the huge creatures that once roamed the planet.

WFamily Fun Days are always FREE and usually meet on the first Thursday of the month at 10am.

" Join us as we welcome spring with two stories about the beauty of nature! We’ll start with “My Garden” by Kevin Henkes, featuring a young girl who imagines chocolate rabbits, tomatoes as big as beach balls, and flowers that change color. Our second book, “From Caterpillar to Butterfly” by Deborah Heiligman, teaches kids all about this mysterious metamorphosis! Kids will also enjoy a tasty treat and make springtime headbands they can decorate and wear.

" Share the love in February as we celebrate Valentine’s Day! Our first book is “If You Give a Mouse a Cookie” by Laura Joffe Numeroff, the tale of a kind little boy and a hungry mouse. Then we’ll read “Plant a Kiss” by Amy Krouse Rosenthal, which shows how one small act of love blooms into something bigger and more dazzling than one could have ever imagined! Kids will decorate sugar cookies and their own mailbox that’s perfect for storing their Valentine’s Day cards. "
