43rd Annual Day in the Park with kids parade, games, music, treasure hunt and more at Mount Baker Park in Seattle - Sunday, September 14th 2014 from 10am-3pm





" The 43rd annual Day in the Park Festival is coming Sunday, September 14 to Mount Baker Park in Seattle. This year's theme is "Summer of Love" (for Mount Baker), a one-day event celebrating community in Mount Baker and the surrounding neighborhoods. 


Be sure to wear flowers in your hair, and the rest of your best hippie flair -- bell-bottoms, tie-dye, beads, headbands & fringe highly encouraged!

Other activities include:
• Annual Kid's Parade - Meet in front of Franklin High School at 9:45am to participate. 
• All-levels Tennis Mixer hosted by Amy Yee Tennis Center - Please email us at DayInThePark@MountBaker.org
• Classic field day games including an all-neighborhood tug-of-war, watermelon eating contest, piggy back races and more
• Pop-up Bike Park presented by Bike Works
• FREE Community Yoga Class by Krista Lee
• 2nd Annual Community Talent Show
• Live music and Talent Show
• Park Treasure Hunt & Obstacle Course
• Kid's Art Contest
• ... and so much more.

2014 Martin Luther King, Jr Youth March and talent show plus T-Shirt and Hoodie giveaways to first 400 to sign up! - Saturday, January 18th 2014 from 1-4pm





Youth lead 9th annual youth march to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the public to join a youth-organized march to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Saturday, Jan. 18. Participants will gather at 1 p.m. at Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Park, 2200 Martin Luther King, Jr. Way, 98144.  Teens will lead the march to Rainier Community Center, 4600 38th Ave. S, 98118. 
This year Seattle Parks and Recreation established a Youth Leadership Team to organize the 9th Annual Martin Luther King Youth March.  The Youth Leadership Team’s goal for the march is to celebrate the contribution Seattle youth make in creating a better city and to honor the work that youth do to keep Dr. King’s dream alive every day.
After the march, a talent show at Rainier Community Center will highlight talented youth in Seattle and end with youth group-speak recitation.
To show your support and march, please sign up athttp://www.seattle.gov/parks/teens/programs/mlkprogram.htm. Youth-designed T-shirts and hooded sweatshirts that honor Dr. King will be given to the first 400 people who sign up!

"Day in the Park 2013" with TONS of Activities at Mount Baker Park in Seattle - Sunday, September 22nd 2013 from 10am-3pm





There will be all kinds of fun including bouncy house, Seattle Gymnastics Academy's mobile tumbling gym, a magician, music, performances, games, a red carpet for rock star posing AND paparazzi, a parade, flash mob, talent show, bake sale, face painting and more!

Woodinville's 19th Birthday Celebration and All Fools Day Parade - Saturday, March 31st 2012 - All day!



Join in and celebrate Woodinville with a fun filled afternoon of FREE activities & giveaways including carnival games, a giant Lego’s table, face painting, a vegetable toss, Pilates Reformer demos, free popcorn, balloons, crowns to wear, a parade (11am), birthday cake, an arts and crafts fair, basset hound "bash and brigade", art exhibit, talent show and more! WestFest at the Holy Rosary School in Seattle - from 6pm on Friday, September 16th until 10pm on Saturday, September 17th



Check out WestFest tonight and tomorrow! You’ll find a free live entertainment stage featuring a magician, pet show, yoga demo, music performances of rock, jazz and big band, plus a teen talent show and for a fee you will find bouncy houses, rides, kids games, specialty food booths, BINGO, a used book sale, a raffle, and much more at the Holy Rosary School grounds.

Magnolia Summerfest and Art Show - Friday, July 29th from 11am-11pm and Saturday, July 30th from 10am-10pm


Head over and see the Magnolia Summerfest event featuring baby races (yes baby races!), a parade, a kids parade, clowns, reptiles, a youth talent show, an outdoor showing of the movie "E.T.", a pie eating contest, 2 stages of entertainment, one just for kids plus a whole lot more!
