Free car washes tomorrow at all Brown Bear Tunnel Wash Locations to Celebrate their 59th Anniversary! - Thursday, August 25th 2016 from 8am-8pm

Celebrating its 59th anniversary, Brown Bear Car Wash to offer free “Beary Clean” washes at all tunnel wash locations next Thursday (August 25)

Brown Bear Car Wash tunnel wash locations will offer free “Beary Clean” car washes on Thursday, August 25 as the family-owned company celebrates its 59th anniversary. The company’s 22 tunnel wash locations across the Puget Sound will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the special event.

Last year’s one-day “birthday” added sparkle and shine to 26,437 cars and trucks across the Puget Sound area. For the past nine years, family-owned Brown Bear has provided over 250,000 free washes as it celebrated its August “birthday” with customers and honored veterans and current service members on Veterans Day.

During the celebration, on August 25 only, two lucky customers will be selected to receive free car washes for a year: an annual membership to Brown Bear’s Unlimited Wash Club. Enter to win by taking a photo of your newly-washed vehicle and posting it on Twitter (@brownbear) or Instagram (@brownbearcarwash) with the hashtag #FreeCarWashDay.

Brown Bear founder and CEO Victor Odermat opened the company’s first location in 1957 at 15th Ave West in Seattle. Brown Bear now owns and operates a total of 44 car washes throughout the Puget Sound area and Spokane.

“This is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the community that has supported us for nearly 60 years,” said Odermat. “It’s a fun and busy day as we celebrate with our customers while benefitting the environment.”

Widely recognized for its environmentally-friendly practices, Brown Bear uses gentle, biodegradable cleaning detergents at all its locations.

THREE FREE ONLINE THINGS TO DO BEFORE CHRISTMAS IS HERE INCLUDING ONLINE VIDEO LETTER FROM SANTA, WATCHING THE LIVE REINDEER (You can watch them and Santa start their journey at 5pm today PST!) AT THE "NORTH POLE" AND WATCHING THEIR TRIP AROUND THE WORLD!

While Christmas is always magical, it won't be too many more years before my little guy doesn't think there is a real Santa. So, I make sure we do this every year until that happens:

1) Watch a special video letter from Santa customized just for my son...

2) Watch the reindeer, their friends and sometimes Santa at their home at the "North Pole" before their big night of deliveries at Reindeercam.com.

3) Track Santa's and the reindeers' trek across the world on Norad's Santa Tracker and making sure we're (well he's) asleep before Santa arrives in Seattle! ;-)

What are some things you do to enjoy these moments with your kids while they are still young and still believe in Santa Claus?
