3rd Annual Touch-a-Truck event presented by The Jr. League of Seattle in Magnuson Park - Sunday, June 2nd 2013 from 10am-1pm

For those of you who have been waiting for a Touch-a-Truck event this year, mark your calendars!

The Junior League is hosting their 3rd one and it should be, as always, tons of fun! (No pun intended!)

Families can explore emergency, construction, utility vehicles and more plus meet the people who operate them. There will be fun games and activities as well. They will have an Energy Family Fun Run too that will take place prior to the event. Touch-a-Truck is free to the public, but donations are gratefully accepted.

In the past Dante's Hot Dogs and Molly Moon Ice Cream have been available for purchase, so I am sure they or another entity will be onsite this year as well.

FYI - Not sure what the weather will be like in June, but I recommend sun hats or umbrellas (it is Seattle after all) and water bottles and snacks as the food lines are typically long and somewhat slow and there can be a little wait to see trucks as this is a very popular (but well worth it) event!

Also, make sure to check out the playground that is adjacent to the Touch-a-Truck parking lot. :-)

Photos from the previous events can be found here and here.
