Seahawks Rally with Michelle Millman of Kiro 7 MC'ing, 3 Seahawks fan costume contests (Grownups, Kids and Dogs!), music and more in Marina Park in Kirkland - Saturday, January 31st 2015 at 2pm!





Head to Kirkland to support the Seahawks and have some fun!


" The Seattle Seahawks are going to the Superbowl again! We think this is cause to celebrate. How about a rally like we did last year?

Meet us at Marina Park on Saturday, January 31st at 2pm in your blue and green attire to show your team support! We will have a best dressed costume contest for adults and kids, as well as a doggy costume contest, so dress up yourself and those pooches in your most creative Seahawks gear!

Rally in Kirkland's Marina Park this Saturday, January 31st at 2pm! Wear Seahawks blue and green attire. DJ Nick Cain will provide us with great entertainment! 

There will be a best dressed costume contest for adults and kids, as well as a doggy costume contest, with winners being selected based on the most creative Seahawks fan costumes. "

"12th Man Fan Fair" Event with flag raising, activities, giveaways, bonfire, fan costume contest, photo opps. with team mascot "Blitz" and more! - Saturday, January 18th 2014 from 3:30-5:30pm


Great event happening at Marina Park in Kirkland to support, honor and celebrate the Seahawks!

" “True-blue” (and even fair-weather) Seahawk fans are invited to Kirkland’s Marina Park on Saturday, January 18, 2014, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., for a “12th Man Fan Fair.” The fan fair is in honor of the Seattle Seahawks advancing into the NFC championship game against the San Francisco 49ers to be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., Kirkland Mayor Amy Walen and fellow city council members will raise a “12th Man” flag to a drum roll by the Seahawks Blue Thunder. The event will begin at the Plaza of Champions, located at Marina Park, 25 Lakeshore Plaza Drive. Following the raising of the flag, fans are to form the number 12 on the beach for a photograph and video to be shared with media. Fans can take their picture with Blitz, the official team mascot and with inflatable Seahawks players. The City will host a bon fire on the beach. Come dressed in your best Seahawks fan costume to be judged by local officials. Activities and promotional materials will be provided by Sea Hawkers Booster Club the at the Marina Park pavilion throughout the event. 

Kirkland fans are encouraged to share their cheers, fan “selfies,” and pictures of where their “12th Man” flags are displayed on the City’s Explore Kirkland Facebook site:www.facebook.com/explorekirkland.  

Kirkland restaurants will be offering food and beverage game-day specials and airing the game on January 19 which starts at 3:30 p.m. (PST). 

Event goers are encouraged to plan for their parking in advance. For public parking, including the Kirkland Municipal Garage, go to www.kirklandwa.gov/parking.

Tour the Tall Ships on the waterfront in Downtown Kirkland - August 30th through September 3rd 2012 - Various Locations/Days/Hours - Free or "Less than a Latte" each with donation



The City of Kirkland is hosting the Tall Ship "Lady Washington" which will be available for tours on Thursday, August 30th from noon–5 pm while it is moored at Marina Park. The ship accommodates 60-100 visitors an hour, and tours last approximately 30 minutes. No tickets are necessary and visitors will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis. This is courtesy of the City of Kirkland, as well.

Tours will also be available at Carillon Point on the Tall Ship "Hawaiian Chieftain" all three days with additional tours of "Lady Washington" available at this same location on August 31st and September 3rd.

The promenade portion of Kirkland Uncorked will feature 40 artist booths and shopping, food booths, CityDog Magazine's Cover Dog Model Contest, a boat showcase and more!

The promenade in downtown Kirkland is free and open to the public.

9th Annual Kirkland Classic Car Show at Marina Park in Kirkland - Sunday, July 31st from 10am-4pm


The Legends Car club welcomes 500 plus cars including hot rods, customs, classics, vintage, muscle cars, trucks and motorcycles at the annual Kirkland car show! Go and check out the cars and enjoy downtown Kirkland. There will be raffles and games too!

Free Kids Concerts at Marina Park in Kirkland - Now until August 23rd - Tuesdays at 10am

The kids concerts are back in Marina Park! These are some of the first events we attended when my son was an infant. I loved these because we got to enjoy some really fun performances and get outside too. Plus, you can bring some beach toys and play in the water and sand after the performance. You should take your kids and check this out too! This is a popular event and the kids always have a blast!
