To complement their group exhibit "Anything Goes" from January 8 - February 6 at the Schack Art Center, the Cascade Clay Artists are also offering a day of free demonstrations and affordable workshops on Saturday, January 24.

Whether you're interested in making a ceramic mask or drum, or learning how to create different textures, you won't want to miss "A Day of Clay" on January 24 from 10am-4pm. Demonstrating artists include Persis Gayle, Maria Root, Dinah Steveni, Kathy Huckleberry, and Roger Cocke.

This four-day harvest themed weekend at the Schack Art Center features an urban pumpkin patch filled with 600 glistening blown glass pumpkins and gourds. Other activities includes glassblowing demonstrations in the hot shop, hands-on activities for kids, face painting, raffles, and "Make It Now" pumpkin classes in the hot shop.

"Fresh Paint" with 90+ artists in action, plus glassblowing, kids' activities and more in Everett - Saturday and Sunday, August 16th and 17th 2014 from 10am-5pm both days!

" Purchase art fresh off the easel! The entire length of the promenade will be filled with more artists than ever, turning the marina into a huge outdoor studio and sidewalk gallery.

Ask anything you want to know about art, making art, and what it is like to be an artist.

90+ artists will be sharing painting, pottery, glass, jewelry, photography & much more. Every artist is in action, plus on-site glassblowing and children's activities. You can also take the ferry to Jetty Island for the Float Find.

Don't forget to stop by the Schack Art Center all weekend and "Make Your Own" Glass Floats in the hot shop.

And, on Sunday enjoy the Everett Farmer's Market at the marina with produce, flowers, and craft vendors from 11am-4pm "

Also, a signing with author Mindy Hardwick on April 25th. Mindy will be signing both of her books for teens, "Stained Glass Summer" and "Weaving Magic". "

16th Annual "Fresh Paint" - Festival of Artists at the Port of Everett Marina - Now until 5pm Sunday, August 19th 2012

The promenade will be filled with artists at work making the Everett Marina into a huge outdoor studio and sidewalk gallery. 75+ artists will be sharing painting, pottery, glass, jewelry, photography & more. There will also be on-site glassblowing and children's activities. And you can see and enjoy the Seattle Metals Guild Jewelry Trunk Show, NW Basketweavers 30th anniversary exhibit, and the inaugural Everett Craft Beer Festival along Hoyt Ave. on Saturday.

Lots of creative and fun things to do this weekend at the festival!
