Harvest Festival at Country Village in Bothell - Today, October 11th 2015 from 11am-5pm




Now that it isn't a day of downpours head to County Village for their 28th Annual Harvest Festival!

" Come to Country Village and celebrate fall. Join us on October 10th & 11th for the 28th annual Harvest Festival. Booths open at 11:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday and Sunday. This is a free event for everyone. 
Stroll the grounds decorated with corn stalks and pumpkins while you enjoy 30+ unique craft booths featuring one-of-a-kind items made by local artisans. Paint a pumpkin! Pumpkins and paints are included ($7). Fun, fall activities for kids include face painting, pony rides, train rides, and live entertainment throughout the entire weekend! "

Party in the Park with pony rides, face painters, games, petting zoo and more at Bridle Trails State Park in Kirkland - Saturday, June 27th 2015 from 8:30-12:30 - Donations accepted.

Parking:    
Free Shuttle:  Due to the increased attendance and need for horse trailer parking, there will be limited parking in the main lot. It will be restricted to disabled parking for those displaying a state-issued handicapped placard and event-support vehicles only. Attendees will need to park at the Central Park Tennis Club (5820 125th Lane NE, Kirkland WA 98033). The entrance to the Central Park Tennis Club parking lot is across the street from Ben Franklin Elementary School on NE 60th Street. There will be shuttle service between the Central Park Tennis Club and the event. Since the park is only a few minutes from this parking lot, the shuttle will be making trips every 10 minutes from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm. Please consider using this FREE service!
Breakfast:
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM:  Our famous ‘baked on the griddle’ Pancake & Bacon breakfast, served with coffee or juice - $5.00 a plate
Entertainment:
10:00 AM - 12:30 PM:  Free entertainment featuring the Ellensburg Rodeo Royal Court, High Valley Riders, breed displays and more!
Kids’ Activities:
9:30 AM - 12:30 PM:  Pony rides, face painters, games, a petting zoo and more! No charge, but donations gladly accepted. A suggested donation of $5.00 for pony rides.
Trail Fun Runs: 5k and 10k
7:30 AM - Day-of-race registration and packet pickup begins

Swedish Midsummer Festival with free pony rides, free cotton candy, free bounce house, singing and dancing performances, maypole celebration, plus a playground, swimming, waterslides and more! - Sunday, June 14th 2015 from 9am - 8pm (Swedish Pancake Breakfast for a fee is from 9am-12pm)

" Family fun is the focus of the Swedish Midsummer festival at Vasa Park Resort on Sunday, June 14, 2015. Admission to this event is always free. Come and bring the whole family for a day of live music, dancing and old fashioned recreation. This free regional event has taken place on the shores of Lake Sammamish at beautiful Vasa Park Resort for 89 years. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

The day starts off with a hearty Swedish pancake breakfast. Breakfast goes from 9am-12pm. If you have never tried Swedish Pancakes, or if you have, these are the best. They are served by Skogsblomman lodge out of our summer kitchen. Breakfast includes Swedish pancakes, ham, syrup, coffee and juice. Price for the breakfast is $10.00 for adults and $8 for children under 12. Once you have enjoyed breakfast, you will be ready for the rest of the days activities. So stick around and enjoy the fun at Vasa Park Resort...

After enjoying the Swedish Pancakes, there will be lots of family activities throughout the day. 11am-1pm, free pony rides for the kids, free cotton candy, free bounce house, balloon art and face painting, Also to satisfy every sweet tooth, have a relaxing break at the "Swedish Coffee Garden." Enjoy a cup of coffee with some Swedish baked goods. Bingo will be held in our patio area throughout the day, starting at 10am. Of course, the playground, swimming and waterslides are open all day long for your enjoyment. At 12:30, you don't want to miss the main program. Swedish dancers, singers and the famous midsummer maypole wrapping will take place at the stage area in the center of the park. You will find this program so enjoyable so gather around the stage early to get a good seat. Old time races and games for children will begin at 2pm in the campsites in the north end of the park. The Vasa Park Concession will be open all day serving, soda, ice cream, candy and chips and nachos. So stop on by to grab a quick snack.

Many new activities will be added this year, some include a Beer Garden, Hamburgers, Salmon and Hot Dogs cooked right on a charcoal grill. Lots of activities going on all day, so come and spend the day with us at Vasa Park Resort. "

"Fun with Frosty" with live reindeer, a magic show, meet and greet, games, craft, pony rides (fee), train rides (fee) and more at Country Village in Bothell - Saturday and Sunday, December 20th and 21st 2014 from 12-3pm





" Meet Frosty the Snowman and his friend, Hippity Hop the rabbit from noon to 3 pm both Saturday and Sunday at Country Village.  Enjoy a magic show at noon at Zero and Somebuddy Adventure Theatre, participate in fun & games on the center stage at 1 pm and make a winter craft project with Frosty at The Village Bean at 2 pm. This is a free event for children of all ages!  
Visit Santa’s Workshop featuring Santa photos by Arthur & Associates. Live reindeer on site, pony and train rides (weather permitting) are open for a nominal fee, Christmas tree sales by local Boy Scout Troop 420. "

Santa's Arrival and Tree Lighting with Live Reindeer, pony rides (fee), train rides (fee), the Grinch, choirs and more at Country Village in Bothell - Today, Saturday, December 6th 2014 until 8pm...Santa arrives by Float this year at 7pm!





" It’s a holiday wonderland at Country Village with live reindeer, caroling by local choirs all day long, whimsical gingerbread house display, surprise visit by the Grinch, and 40 local shops and restaurants all decked out in their best with thousands of twinkling lights. An animated light display featuring a 40’ sea serpent, fiddling pig, giant dragonfly, marching ducks and more!

Be sure to visit Santa’s Workshop featuring on the spot Santa Photos by Arthur & Associates. Complimentary hot roasted chestnuts begin at 4 pm ‘til they last. Our own Town Crier will herald the arrival of Santa at 7 pm on his dazzling Christmas float followed by a traditional tree lighting. Everyone will get a chance to greet Santa and receive a candy cane. 

The Gingerbread House Contest winners will be announced just before Santa arrives. 

Doll House Baked Goods will be selling tasty holiday treats at Santa's Workshop. 

Pony and train rides (weather permitting) are open for a nominal fee. 

This event is free and open to the public. "

5th Annual Pants Party at Eastside Baby Corner with food, games, entertainment, giveaways and more in Issaquah - Saturday, September 6th 2014 from 10am-1pm - Please consider donating new or gently used 0-14 sized pants!

"PARTY IN THE PARK" AT BRIDLE TRAILS STATE PARK HORSE SHOW GROUNDS IN KIRKLAND WITH JOUSTING KNIGHTS, EQUESTRIAN DRILL TEAMS, PONY RIDES, VAULTERS, FACE PAINTING, GAMES AND MORE! - SATURDAY, JUNE 28TH 2014 FROM 8:30AM-12:30PM - FREE EVENT, BUT $5 FOR PANCAKE BREAKFAST AND $5 SUGGESTED DONATION FOR PONY RIDES!




Join in the fun at the Party in the Park event hosted by the Bridle Trails Park Foundation! From 8:30am-12:30pm there will be all kinds of entertainment like equestrian drill teams, jousting knights, etc. Plus, there will be pony rides, face painters, a kids race called "Donkey Dash", and lots more. It's all free but they are asking for a suggestion donation of $5 for the pony rides.

And if interested, there will also be a $5 pancake breakfast, t-shirts and hats available for purchase.

Since this is a popular event they will also have a free shuttle available, as well.

1st Ever "Milk Walk" with milk tastings and cookies plus pony rides, train rides, face painting, photo opps., and more (!) at Country Village in Bothell - Saturday, June 28th 2014 from 10am-1pm - $5 Suggested Donation for Milk Walk ticket and includes train ride or pony ride and more!




Cookies & Milk Tasting for All Ages!
" On June 28th the Northshore Schools Foundation is teaming up with Country Village and local supporters for the  1st ever Milk Walk.  All proceeds will benefit disadvantaged & homeless children in the Northshore School District.
Bring the kids to the Village for a FREE, fun filled morning. Each participating shop will serve milk and cookie pairings:  everything from flavored milk to non-dairy products will be available for tastings. 
Get your Milk Walk tickets ($5 suggested donation) in advance or at the check-in booth in the center parking lot. Your ticket will include 1 FREE pony ride or train ride, so grab your friends and go for a ride.
  • Get your face painted, or take a photo in the Smith Brother's Cow Car. 
  • Make a milk carton cars and race it in a Milk Carton Derby. 
  • Participate with the fabulous Zero and Somebuddy clowns in a Milk Relay
  • Vote for your favorite milk at each shop and enter to win a summer fun basket! 
There's fun for all ages at this fundraiser.
All funds raised at the Milk Walk support local, disadvantaged children in the Northshore School District.

"Cookies with Mrs. Claus" Free Cookies and meet and greet plus kids can collect up to 15 cookie recipes at participating stores at Country Village in Bothell - Saturday and Sunday, December 14th and 15th 2013 from 12-3pm - Train & pony rides available for a small fee - Dickens Carolers on Saturday only at 1:30pm

" As the Village glows under thousands of twinkling lights, Mrs. Claus will be giving out cookies to children from noon to 3pm on Saturday & Sunday. Meet Mrs. Claus at Sankara Imports on the North end of the Village. 

Parents and kids alike will love collecting cookie recipes from participating shops to add to their collection. Be sure to check out a special appearance by the Dickens Carolers on Saturday from 1:30-2:30pm. "

Santa's Fly-in Arrival, plus the Grinch and more at Country Village in Bothell - Saturday, December 7th 2013 from 10am-8pm

" Experience the magical arrival of Santa at 7pm. A traditional tree lighting follows his arrival, heralded by our own Town Crier. Don't miss an appearance by The Grinch, he will be roaming about the Village from 2-5pm. The Village will be decorated with thousands of twinkling lights and whimsical, animated light displays featuring a 40’ sea serpent, fiddling pig, giant dragonfly, marching ducks and more! Complimentary hot-roasted chestnuts will be served at 4pm (while supplies last), and local groups will perform holiday-themed music on the stage throughout the day. Train rides and pony rides are available for a nominal fee. This event is free and open to the public. "







Check out all the fun family things happening at Country Village in Bothell! First, starting with Santa's Arrival where he flies in...he really does! We did this the last 2 years and it was a lot of fun! 



 
There will also be carolers, the Grinch, free roasted chestnuts, a tree lighting, tons of Christmas lights, train rides and pony rides (for a small fee)...and Santa will be giving out candy canes too!
