Sheep Shearing plus TONS more fun at Kelsey Creek Farm in Bellevue - Saturday, April 27th 2013 from 11am-4pm

Take your kids and see the sheep get their winter coats sheared at Kelsey Creek Farm! Plus, they can see all kinds of demos, take a tractor ride and see other farm animals all for free!  For a fee they can bounce on the inflatables, ride ponies, buy food, honey and more!

We did this last couple of years and it's been fun! However, I recommend getting there early or late otherwise you will be waiting forever (possibly up to an hour or an hour and a half) for the shuttle. Or make sure to take something to occupy the kids' time while you wait in line for the shuttle. And it is just about impossible to park anywhere near the park. So, Just a FYI!

And if you are interested in buying food or other goodies, or riding the ponies or using the bounce houses, make sure to take cash as they have no ATM on site and don't take credit cards.

Have fun!

All set for summer!

Kelsey Creek Farm's Annual Sheep Shearing and more event! - Saturday, April 28th 2012 from 11am-4pm

Image courtesy of Bellevue Parks and Recreation

Take your kids and see the sheep get their "summer" haircuts at Kelsey Creek Farm! Plus, they can see all kinds of demos, take a tractor ride and see other farm animals all for free!  For a fee they can bounce on the inflatables, ride ponies, buy food, honey and more!

We did this last year and it was a blast! However, it has been recommended to go early as we went in the early afternoon and waited FOREVER (well over an hour in line) for the shuttle. Turns out with budget cuts they limited their transportation to one bus (per route, I believe) to transport everyone to this very popular event.  And it is just about impossible to park anywhere near the park. Just a FYI!
