"Community Portrait Day" at Seattle Art Museum - Saturday, March 16th 2013 from 11am-2pm - "Less than a Latte" each with suggested donation of $5 for materials







" Get inspired by Rembrandt, Van Dyck, Gainsborough: The Treasures of Kenwood House, London during this afternoon full of art making for all ages!

The day's activities include:
  • Work with Seattle artist Joe Park to create a life-sized embellished masterpiece.
  • Become your favorite cartoon! Have a local artist from Over the Line Art capture your likeness in a caricature drawing.
  • Ready for your close-up? Dress up for a photo op with Youth in Focus.
  • Create a portrait of yourself, a member of your family or your friends using a variety of costumes, accessories and props in our artist’s studio.
  • Draw all day at drop-in sketching stations. We'll provide the materials.
  • Discover the treasures of Kenwood House on a family-friendly sketching tour.
Suggested materials fee $5.00. Attendees will receive complimentary passes to the galleries. "
