"Open Carry" presented by the Seattle Public Theater's Youth Program in Green Lake - Saturday and Sunday, November 8th and 9th 2014 - Various times

Open Carry
by Scot Augustson
directed by Steven Sterne

" The constitution gives us the right to bear arms. But where do we draw the lines? And what if those arms were……tigers?

This is a world premiere play commissioned especially for Seattle Public Theater’s Youth Program, from local playwright Scot Augustson. In Augustson’s humorous, slightly twisted and quirky perspective, we get to ask hard questions about guns and violence, and equip ourselves with the emotional resilience and intellectual perspectives to build a stronger, safer future. Theater is our language – let’s talk about something important – without losing our sense of humor.

Ensemble features actors grades 6 – 8. "

Performances:

Saturday, November 8 @ 2pm
Sunday, November 9 @ 4pm
