Cool event for teens and adults!

" Celebrate hands-on making and web literacy at this collaborative two-day event hosted by Geek Girls Carrots, Pacific Science Center and The Seattle Public Library.

Are YOU curious about learning how to program? Do YOU want to make stuff? Do YOU want to be an entrepreneur? Do YOU want to have more control over the tech you consume? Well, this Maker Party is for YOU!

At Hive Seattle's two-day Pop-Up Maker Party, a global effort by Mozilla, you will learn web literacy and how to program with Python and JavaScript languages. You'll also get the chance to improve the Django Carrots Tutorials, explore other programming languages and get creative with the basics of binary! Participants will learn how binary can represent numbers, letters and pictures, and will get to make and take a personalized binary bracelet.
