SYTTENDE MAI FESTIVAL (NORWEGIAN CONSTITUTION DAY CELEBRATION) with free admission, fjord horses, electric train rides, crafts, entertainment and more IN SEATTLE - Saturday, MAY 17TH 2014 FROM 10AM-8PM - VARIOUS EVENTS AND LOCATIONS!



Check out all the fun things happening for the Syttende Mai Festival! 


Nordic Heritage Museum is offering free admission all day plus Barneleker (Children's activities) from 10am-4pm in celebration of Norway's Constitution Day! Kids can pet the fjord horses, ride an electric train, see the museum, and enjoy easy craft projects too. Children must be accompanied by an adult.


Free Nordic Entertainment with several different performances will occur at Bergen Place from 10am-5pm. This event happens near Market St., Leary Ave., and 22nd Ave.


17th of May Parade happens from 6-8pm. Local radio personalities Tim Hunter and MJ McDermott will be emceeing this year's parade. This is a popular parade so it is recommended to arrive early!
