Amtrak invites Seattle to celebrate the many benefits trains bring to the nation for the 7th annual National Train Day. Come to historic King Street Station for this free, family fun event!

-Opening ceremonies include Alan Boyd, former Amtrak President, Seattle Deputy Mayor Hyeok Kim and Ron Pate, Director of Rail Division for Washington State Department of Transportation

Highlights include:

-Tour the Amtrak Coast Starlight train, including special SF Travel train arcade car. 

-Culinary demonstrations and samples by Tom Douglas.

-Kids can play in the Chuggington Kids Depot

-Enjoy Mt. Rainier nScale Model Train display

-Exhibitors: Amtrak Cascades, Washington State Department of Transportation, SF Travel, Operation Lifesaver, Trails & Rails Program, All Aboard Washington, Sound Transit, Talgo, Inc, Craig Thorpe and Al Runte. "
