The Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute presents "The Lost Voice" - A musical fable by Aaron Grad in Seattle - Sunday, April 6th 2014 at 2pm





" The Lost Voice, a musical fable by Seattle-based composer Aaron Grad, tells the story of a boy who loses his voice when faced with life’s hardships. To find his voice again, he journeys to a magical forest, where he encounters animal allies and reclaims his own true song. This world premiere production features bass-baritone Jonathan Silvia, the Seattle Modern Orchestra conducted by Julia Tai, handmade animal masks, audience participation, and a special encore that answers the question: What Does the Fox Say? The performance is approximately 45 minutes long, and is ideal for children ages 5 to 11 and their families
