THE WING’S LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION: Celebrating the Year of the Horse

Kicks off a week of celebrating Lunar New Year with a day of activities at The Wing for the whole family!

11AM

Lieu Quan Lion Dance Team blesses The Wing with their vibrant and energetic team spirit. Come watch and cheer on the dancers as they rid The Wing of any bad luck as we start the lucky year of the horse. 

Outside and FREE to view!

Museum admission required for activities below:

Afterwards, visit the newest KidPLACE exhibit, New Years All Round, where you can play games, do some arts and crafts, listen to stories, and view short films all based around the Lunar New Year.

11:30AM to 3PM

New Years Fair

Take a passport journey through our building: create crafts, play life-sized Lucky Chess, watch lion dances from around the world, read and share New Year stories, and “pet” a New Year animal in our stuffed petting zoo.
