Free showing of "Journey to the South Pacific" - 3D and in IMAX at Pacific Science Center in Seattle - RSVP now - Tickets going fast - Event Date is Saturday, January 11th 2014 at 10:30am

" Pacific Science Center is partnering with Seattle’s Child to present the first ever Kids Review IMAX on Journey to the South Pacific 3D. Kids between the ages of 6 and 12 are invited to sharpen their pencils and put on their journalist hats to let us know what they think of our newest IMAX movie. Families are invited to experience the film for FREE before it opens to the public on January 24. RSVP for your tickets today. Tickets are first come, first serve. You will receive a follow-up email confirming your tickets and requesting a mailing address to receive your tickets.  
After your family comes to see the movie at Pacific Science Center that’s when the work on the movie review begins. Learn more about the contest and submit an official review here. All reviews are due by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 15. One winner will be selected from all submissions and will be published in the February print issue of Seattle’s Child AND/or ON their WEBSITE and online at pacificsciencecenter.org. They will also win a family membership to Pacific Science Center and a behind-the-scenes tour of our Boeing IMAX Theater. "

  1. My son and I would *love* to go! But he's only two-and-a-half. Although I know he'd enjoy the show very much, I understand if we're out of the running because of his age. :)

    1. Yes, probably out of the running. :-( I was "pushing it" myself with my son who is only 5. I think they really want kids that can "write/dictate" a review for this particular event. Although, I am sure your son would have loved it...the film looks like it is beautiful. Good news is there will be more giveaways in the future!
