Awesome Ideas to Celebrate New Year's Eve with your kids!...

Just a sampling...

Gone are the days of night clubbing, massive parties, dinner reservations, or grown-up family ski trips to celebrate (as least for now) New Year's Eve. Now we look forward to a tamer celebration with our young son in mind which at this point in life, I truly enjoy!

So with that being said, I found a great Pinterest board for New Year's Eve with Kids with some awesome IDEAS to make celebrating the holiday family friendly and fun! (Love the bubble wrap stomp idea!)

We inadvertently started a tradition awhile back of getting Chinese takeout so we do that every New Year's Eve since we had our son. We always do horns and noisemakers and a special dessert. 

Now that he is 5 and received a camping tent for Christmas,  I think we will do the camping in the living room idea with s'mores, hot cocoa and such and maybe celebrate the East Coast's New Year since he may or I (LOL) may not make it to midnight!
