Free Community Day at Seattle Art Museum - Today, Saturday, November 16th 2013 - now until 3pm
" Join us for a marvelous free celebration of Peruvian and Native American art, culture, music and dance. There will be art making, tours, performances and workshops inspired by the exhibitions Peru: Kingdoms of the Sun and the Moon and Robert Davidson: Abstract Impulse.
Bring your family, friends, students, kids, parents and fellow artists—there's something for everyone!
Following the Community Day activities, artist Robert Davidson and the Rainbow Creek Dancers will perform traditional songs and dances from 3–4 pm to celebrate the opening of this exhibition of his recent works. Free and open to the public; seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Community Day activities are FREE and open to the public. The first 500 people through the doors will receive free community passes to see the Peru and Robert Davidson exhibitions. "
