Halloween Howls and Haunted Houses, Seattle Parks offers the right Halloween party for everyone! - Now through Halloween 2013 - Various locations, dates, times!


Halloween happenings presented by Seattle Parks and Rec now until Halloween night 2013! Some free, some for a small fee.

Southwest Seattle: Alki, Delridge, Hiawatha, High Point, South Park

High Point Toddler Pumpkinpalooza
Come dressed in your best costume for pumpkin painting, carnival games and more. Each child will receive a bag of age appropriate goodies upon leaving.
Ages: 1-5
Location: High Point Community Center, 6920 34th Ave. SW
Date and time: Tuesday, October 29, 10 a.m.-noon
Cost: $5



Northwest Seattle: Ballard, Bitter Lake, Green Lake, Loyal Heights, and Magnolia Community Centers and Madison Pool

Magnolia Pumpkin Carving
Nothing says Halloween like pumpkin carving. We will provide theme refreshments and everything you need to carve your pumpkin.
Ages: All
Location: Magnolia Community Center, 2550 35th Ave. W
Date and time: Thursday, October 31, 6-8 p.m.
Cost: $3 per child. Bring your own pumpkin.

Magnolia Li’l Spooky Things
Get the little spooky ones dressed for our morning Halloween event. We’ll be serving treats, decorating pumpkins, playing games and bouncing around. Costumes are encouraged!
Ages: 4 and younger

Madison Pool Annual Pumpkin Swim
Helene Madison Pool invites everyone to participate in the annual Pumpkin Swim with games and prizes for all.

Cost: $2 per person

Discovery Happy Halloween Hike
Adults, grow outside with your children! Be sure to wear your costume for the fun hike discovering the animals of Halloween!

Miller Mighty Mites Crazy Costume Contest
Attention all superheroes, monsters, ballerinas and princesses, Miller Community Center wants to invite you to show off your best costume. The event will be full of games, treats and prizes.

Montlake Fall Carnival
Come trick or treat at Montlake Community Center and enjoy activities in a safe environment. Don’t get too scared by the haunted Tudor House! Enjoy the carnival games and prizes. If you’re interested in volunteering, call 206-684-4736.

Queen Anne Fall Tot Carnival
Have your tots try on their Halloween costumes and join in some pre-Halloween fun. Our mini carnival will have games, treats and fun for all. Costumes are optional but encouraged!

Van Asselt Teen Halloween Flashlight Hunt and Carnival
Van Asselt and our Teen program will host a Halloween flashlight hunt and will include carnival games and activities.
Ages: 10-17
Location: Van Asselt Community Center, 2820 S Myrtle St.
Date and time: Thursday, October 31, 6-8 p.m.

Northeast Seattle: Laurelhurst, Magnuson, Meadowbrook, and Ravenna-Eckstein Community Centers, Meadowbrook Teen Life Center, and Meadowbrook Pool 


Magnuson Community Center and Seattle Musical Theatre Halloween Make-up Headquarters
Kids get your face painted by theater experts! Seattle Musical Theatre will be on hand to paint faces for the biggest dress-up day of the year! Call 206-684-7026 to make an appointment.
