Have no special plans for Father's Day? Weather is suppose to be nice...might be a fun day to take Dad out for a free public sail at The Center for Wooden Boats!
The Center for Wooden Boats "Cast Off!" program allows visitors the chance to sail in classic sailboats. They sail rain or shine, but be aware that strong wind will ground them to the dock. Reservations are taken day-of-sail only at the front desk of The Center for Wooden Boats.
They recommend arriving early to reserve a spot and open at 10am. "Cast Off!" rides are always at 2pm, and according to their website, sometimes also at 3pm.
