A special art- and noise-making activity event for kids of all ages at Jack Straw New Media Gallery in Seattle!
" For young children (toddler – age 4): wearable marble noisemakers
Marbles will roll around inside containers of
various materials, including plastic pop bottles, hose, cardboard, and
metal tubes. These objects will be sealed with marbles inside and
equipped with velcro straps for wearing and noisemaking. Decorating
materials (yarn, markers, tape, etc.) will be on hand, so kids can
make these percussive elements look awesome.
For older children (age 4-5 & up): marble contraption component play
Children will be able to play with tubes, tracks,
marbles, and instruments to experience how the big machine began, and
create and decorate their own devices. This will be noisy!
In addition, the members of meadow starts with p will be available to answer questions, tell jokes, and sign autographs. "
Sounds fun!
