" Voetberg Family Band - a one-hour outreach program featuring live music and dialogue
Powered by two national fiddle champions, a West Coast flat picking
champion and ten state fiddle championships, the Voetberg Family Band is
made up of eight siblings ranging in ages 11 to 24. After eight years
of performing experience across the country, the Voetberg Family Band
knows how to entertain audiences of all varieties. From flashy fiddling
to soulful Sinatra, the Voetberg Family Band delivers a show that
appeals to all generations. Each band member has studied both jazz and
classical music, giving them excellent technical abilities on a variety
of instruments. A Voetberg Family Band performance consists of
traditional Scottish, Irish and American fiddle tunes as well as
Voetberg Family Band original fiddle tunes. Jazz, folk and original
vocals are also a large part of a performance. "
