Having fun on our vacation...

Hi All -

Enjoying our family vacation! Currently on Lake Huron in Michigan. So much fun here, Jetskiing, kayaking, 4-wheeling, tubing, beach fun, and today with the major wind, kite flying! Tonight will be a big campfire and s'mores! Yummy!

Also, if you haven't ever been to Mackinac Island located between the upper peninsula and lower peninsula, I highly recommended it. We (7 Adults and 6 kids 10 and under) took a ferry there yesterday and went bike riding 7 miles around the island and had a blast. Tons of things for the kids to do and check out both nature-oriented and historical plus touristy fudge shops, t-shirt shops and more in the town. And guess what... no cars, just horses and bikes to get around.

Haven't been here in 25 years and it is the same beautiful and fun island I remember. Also, make sure to check out the very large and elegant Grand Hotel. Stayed there last time I was here and it is still just as grand!
