Free Trolley "ride" with historical stories at Heritage Park in Lynnwood - 1st Saturdays - now through September 1st 2012 from 11am-3pm
"Ride" and learn all about a historic trolley car in Lynnwood!
" Heritage Park is hosting summer open house tours of Interurban Car 55 on the first Saturdays - June 2, July 7, August 4 and September 1, from 11 am to 3 pm. Interurban Car 55 is a renovated 1909 interurban electric rail car on display at Heritage Park in Lynnwood. Car 55 is one of the six original trolleys that provided commuter service from Alderwood Manor to Seattle and Everett from 1910 to 1939. Individuals, families and community groups are invited to enjoy the “ride.” Tour guides Jeanne and Gary Rogers will entertain with historical facts and stories along the way. No reservations are necessary. Trolley tours are always free and can accommodate all ages and abilities. "
