Celestial Viewings at UW - 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month!


Check out the free evening, public shows at the Theodor Jacobsen Observatory at the University of Washington!

 Hours: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays only:
April and September: 8 - 10 pm
May through August: 9 - 11 pm
October: 7 - 9 pm
If the sky is clear enough, the dome will be open for viewing celestial objects through the ancient telescope. No reservations are needed to tour the Observatory and take part in the exhibits, activities, and viewing. Reservations are required, however, for the talk portion of the event at the beginning, if you wish to partake, due to the size of the lecture room.

FYI - free event but parking is $5. ($10 at Central Parking Garage)
