Bell Street Pier Classic Rendezvous Wooden Boat Show (and Car Show) - Today until 6pm and Sunday, June 17th 2012 until 4pm

Just discovered this...  take DAD to check out the free wooden boat show and car show happening all weekend at Pier 66 on Seattle's downtown waterfront.

" Over forty classic wooden vessels, many of them built prior to World War II, will welcome visitors throughout  Father's Day weekend.  This event represents the largest gathering of classic  yachts on the West Coast.  The yachts will be joined by dozens of classic automobiles that will be on display on the pier. Admission to all show sites is complimentary.
 
The public is invited to the Bell Harbor Marina docks to view the classics on Saturday the 16th from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Sunday the 17th (Father's Day) from 10 am to 4 pm.  Many of the boats will be available for boarding, and guests are asked to wear soft-soled shoes.  Visitors will be asked to vote for their favorite yacht.  The winning boat's name will be inscribed on a permanent plaque on display at Bell Harbor. "
