Kids Garden Party at the Backyard Wildlife Fair in Tukwila - Saturday, May 12th 2012 from 9am-3pm (Kids Garden Party starts at 10am)

" A free, all-day event to educate and inspire people to welcome wildlife - such as birds and butterflies - into their backyards, gardens and communities " 

Great event that will have exhibitor booths, tours, special appearances and speakers like Ciscoe Morris, a pancake breakfast (7:30am), arts and craft vendors, a plant sale and more. Specifically for kids will be art and crafts, a "passport" event, a special storytime, a performance by The Bubbleman, and seed planting all for free and a bird house decorating event for a fee.

"Kids Garden Party" Schedule:

10:00am - 3:00pm: Educational Passport Fun

10:00am - 3:00pm: Create a bug house or birds nest

10:00am: Story time with Ranger Rick

10:15am: Bird House Decorating ($ - fee activity)

11:15am: Grass Head Guys

12:00pm: Performance by The Bubbleman
