"Touch-a-Truck" (2nd Annual) event in Seattle - Sunday, June 3rd 2012 from 10am-1pm

Seems like there have been a lot of google searches recently for this event so I am posting it now!

We did this last year and it was awesome!

Kids will get to climb in and check out all kinds of trucks. Be prepared for a lot of horn honking!

There will be construction trucks like cranes, bulldozers, dump trucks,

firetrucks with lots of equipment to check out, garbage trucks and more!

All kinds of personnel will be on hand to answer any questions you or the kids might have.

There will be games, crafts and little giveaways too!

There will also be food like Dante Inferno Hotdogs and Molly Moon Ice cream but here's an  insider tip... lines for these were very slow last year so if you or the kids are at all hungry get in line there first. I am hopeful they will be faster this year with more vendors or additional helpers.

FYI - This is a popular event so there is a little waiting time but it is not too bad. If it is sunny make sure kids have their sunscreen and hats on as there will be no shade. Last year we had forgotten his hat and didn't realize how popular the event was going to be during its first year.

Overall I highly recommend this event. It is a lot of fun and kids are always really excited to see these trucks and have the hands-on experience with them.  You will be seeing lots of smiles!

This event is free but donations will be accepted by the Jr. League of Seattle.
