"Weather & Birds Super Saturday" at the Seward Park Environmental and Audubon Center - Saturday, March 3rd 2012 from 10am–3pm

The Seward Audubon Center presents another Super Saturday...this time featuring the connection between birds and weather!

" Did you know that most birds can sense incredibly small changes in barometric pressure? So if the activity at feeders suddenly becomes much more intense a storm may be approaching. Join us for Weather and Birds Super Saturday and explore all the ways we can predict the weather simply by watching the birds. Through arts and crafts, games, activities and more, you’ll also discover how birds deal with certain weather during nesting and fledging season, migration, and even winter survival. All activities are free and open to the public. "
