The Sammamish Library is hosting a special reading of Enemy Pie by local author, Derek Munson! Refreshments will be provided as well.
" Meet Derek Munson, local author of the book popular with elementary students Enemy Pie. He has worked on creative writing and anti-bullying projects, as well as community peace building efforts. Explore the "ingredients" of both friendship and enemyship in a unique and entertaining way. His presentation will include a reading of Enemy Pie, followed by a discussion about how the story became a book, from inception to the illustration process and beyond. There will be time for questions and answers. "
This event is recommended for kids age 6 and older.
FYI - Books will be available for purchase too for signing by the author.
