Chinese New Year Celebration in Chinatown-International District - Saturday, January 28th 2012 from 11am-4pm
Go and have lots of fun at the 2012 Lunar New Year Celebration in the Chinatown-International District! There will be cultural activities featuring calligraphy, drawing, crafts, games and a food walk throughout the District. Plus, there will be nonstop entertainment throughout the day including Lion and Dragon dances, Taiko drumming, martial arts and their third annual Children’s Parade Contest where the kiddos can strut their best New Year’s cultural outfit on stage!
(And FYI - Restaurants across the Chinatown-ID will be offering a variety of $2 tastes from China, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, and beyond! Sample (and collect stamps) from FOUR (4) or more restaurants and you will be eligible to enter a drawing for a GRAND PRIZE! Simply return the stamp card to the information booth during Lunar New Year Celebration!)
