A year round "beach" in Seattle - Yes, year round! "Less than a Latte" with punch card!

Ok, so I was at Twirl Cafe on Queen Anne the other day (try the sandwiches and quiche - they're good!) and talking with Becky, the owner, and she mentioned Sandbox Sports in Georgetown. I had seen something about it and decided to check into it further and I am so glad I did.

It is another indoor venue in Seattle for kids to play during the week! Yay! And guess what? As the name implies, they've got sand...and LOTS of it! Leave it to Seattle to create a year round indoor beach complete with sand, toys, volleyball nets and more!!

They feature 'Lil diggers Playtime where kids can play in the sand sans shoes and dig, build and explore with toys, beach balls and more!

This is not free, but "Less than a Latte" each visit with a 10 session punch card! And I am sure with the Seattle weather I will be going at least 10 times until next summer comes back around!

Here is their regular schedule plus a special holiday schedule for this week:

$6/child/session
$50 punch card (10 sessions)

Also, FYI they are offering a fun Family Night tomorrow night info. here featuring volleyball, badminton, foosball, ping pong and Xbox Kinect too for $8/person or $25/family to play ("Less than a Latte" each for a family of five!)  ;-) You and the family can enjoy their indoor beach from 6 to 8:30pm!
