Go and see Squirrel Butter at the Sammamish Library! " Squirrel Butter is a youthful duo performing traditional and original music influenced by Appalachian, early country, jugband and blues artists. Charlie plays banjo and guitar, while Charmaine is best known for her spirited traditional percussive buckdancing (which she somehow does while playing guitar). Squirrel Butter will combine the telling of the Appalachian folk tale "Sody Sallyratus" with rip-roaring old-time tunes accompanied by a squirrel puppet. " This is recommended for ages 5 and up.
