A great and fun fall event! Head to the Seattle Fishermen's Terminal for the Fishermen's Fall Festival where there will be fun things for kids to do (see below), Japanese drummers, a lutefisk eating contest, an oyster slurp contest, a salmon fillet challenge, a beer/wine garden, a salmon bbq, survival suit races, an At Sea Water Rescue by the US Coast Guard, a raffle, and special appearances by the Radio Disney crew, Reptile Man, and a bittersweet, final public appearance (noon on Saturday) by a beloved and local favorite - J.P. Patches!
Activities for children will include:
- Miniature Wooden Boat Building
- Fishermen’s Fall Festival Favorite Fish Prints
- Oyster Art
- Have Art We’ll Travel: make your own mermaid on a scallop shell
- Spin Art on Frisbees
- Balloon Sculptors
- Trout Pond catch and keep or release rainbow trout
- “Mutiny on the Bounty” air filled Jumpy Ship
- Face Painting
- JP Patches and the Reptile Man will be on the Main Stage,
