Pike Place Market's 104th Birthday and its pet Rachel the Pig's 25th Birthday - Wednesday, August 17th at noon

It's the Market's 104th Birthday! And Rachel the Pig's 25th Birthday! No major plans except a couple of speeches, some music and "some surprises" scheduled for noon but it is always a fun trip to check out Pike Place Market. Take the kids, watch the "flying" fish, local performers and visit Rachel the Pig (one of the largest piggy banks I have ever seen) to celebrate this special day! And for "less than a latte" you can pick up some freshly made mini donuts - plain, covered with sugar, cinnamon, or with sprinkles! You can even check out the first Starbucks and grab a Latte! Whatever you choose to do - Pike Place Market is always sure to be a fun time! Happy Birthday Rachel! (and Market!)
