Wallingford Kiddie Parade and Street Fair - Saturday, July 9th from 10am-5pm

The street fair runs from 10am-5pm on Wallingford Avenue between 45th and 43rd Street. Dick Spady of Dick's Drive-In, longtime resident of Wallingford, will be the Grand Marshal of the parade which starts at 11am and goes on 45th from Corliss to Woodlawn.

The street fair will have the usual suspects like food, crafts, bouncy houses and pony rides for a fee. But, the Wallingford Center merchants will be giving kids free ice cream sodas (Yay!) and manicures?!! (Really?!); Fuerte Fitness will have healthy snacks and drinks and FamilyWorks will have face painting and a fishing game; the Evergreen Chinese School will give calligraphy lessons and chopstick races. Sounds kinda cool!
