Cal Anderson Park Alliance 9th Annual Capitol Hill Independence Day Community Picnic - Saturday, July 2nd from 12-5pm

Read their web page closely and then go and check out this fun, annual community picnic. There will be live bands, like the Not-Its, a free root beer garden with root beer floats, a pie eating contest, a pet/human look-alike contest, and more activities like a Spin Art Bike and Hula Hoop contest. Urban Family Photo Portraits will be available, but probably for a fee! Plus, the children's wading pool officially opens on Picnic day!
