Midsommarfest is the Swedish tradition of celebrating the summer solstice, and incorporates the rising of a garlanded Midsommar pole, 45 feet in length, and a festive serpentine dance around the pole to celebrate the incoming season. Spectators can also join in on the traditional hoisting and celebratory dance.
