Attended a free event today courtesy of a charity organization my husband had coordinated a volunteer event for last year through his work. We saw the dress rehearsal today of "Oliver" at the 5th Avenue Theatre in Seattle! What a great musical and the kids were amazingly talented for being so young! The moving sets were very cool and the singing of the adults in the cast was quite impressive too to say the least! As it was a dress rehearsal for tonight's opening performance we lucked out as there were no interruptions and the performance went smoothly! We enjoyed it and recommend it for kids ages 8 and up (due to the nature of a couple of scenes). I am sure your kids will be singing some of the songs over and over again as I did this evening!
After a week of having the flu this was a welcomed outing! Here are a few pics I snapped today and tonight of the event.
And see below for info. about the theater and a link to HALF PRICE tickets too!
(BTW - I am not affiliated with any of these entities, but just wanted to share with all of you!)
