2015 Wild Strawberry Festival with lots of kids activities including a touch a truck event (today until 6pm) in Burien - Saturday and Sunday, June 20th and 21st 2015 - Today until 6pm and Sunday from 10am-4pm




Kids activities include:


Games & Activities--Find games & activities at vendor booths!  Stop at info booth for Passport game!

Touch a Truck! 152nd and 6th Streets...all day Saturday!

Inflatables--for all ages!  In the pocket park on 152nd and 6th!

Spray Park--Bring a towel and play in the Town Square Park fountain!

4th Annual Polish Festival Seattle (with additional children's activities!) at Seattle Center - Saturday, July 11th 2015 from 12-8pm





Go and check out the Polish Festival and enjoy all things of the Polish culture as well as some fun children's activities!

" The very popular Polish Festival returns to Seattle Center on July 11, 2015 as part of Festal cultural programs. Come explore and experience Polish cultural traditions and contemporary achievements through live music, dance performances, workshops, exhibits, and children's activities. Merchandise market place will showcase Polish glass art, hand-crafted pottery, amber jewelry, crystal, and cut-out paper art (wycinanki); it will also provide information about local Polish-American community and travel to Poland. The beer garden will be well stocked with a variety of imported Polish beer, and the food booths will serve plenty of authentic Polish food.

This summer the Festival will feature many new children's activities including crafts, a drawing contest, story time, and an interactive science presentation based on experiments of Maria Sklodowska Curie.  The Festival's featured Polish region is the Polish Highlands (Podhale).  The unique traditions of Polish Highlanders (Górale) and the splendor of the Polish Tatra mountains  will be showcased with regional artifacts exhibit, performances of authentic music and dance, and special sheep cheese (oscypki) from the mountains.

The Polish community is proud to present this Festival and provide an opportunity to share its Polish heritage and find common ground with others, to foster understanding between cultures and build a greater Seattle community overall. "

Monster Mash Family Costume Dance in Bellevue - Sunday, October 26th 2014 from 5-7pm - Free but canned food donations accepted!




" A FUN night for the whole family. Come dressed up in your family appropriate costume and have a blast dancing the night away! Take a family photo, play games, enter the costume contest and have a chance to win some prizes. The event is FREE to the community but everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item in support of Jubilee Reach. At the end of the night all kids will go home with a candy gift bag. " A Seafair sanctioned event, the annual festival and parade has been in the community over six decades, Umoja Fest African Heritage Festival & Parade brings the Soul to Seafair! “Umoja” is a Swahili word which means “unity”, is the main theme of the festival. Event highlights include the Africatown Heritage Parade, Children’s Day, Radio Disney Stage & Family Fun Zone, three stages of live music including Soul, Jazz, African Drum & Dance, Fashion, Hip-Hop and Spoken Word, Basketball Tournament, Voter Registration, Vendor Marketplace & Community Resource Fair. The event is produced with support from Starbucks, Ezells, Radio Disney and a host of community organizations and businesses. "
