15th Annual Backyard Wildlife Festival with all things nature and gardening plus a "The Bubbleman" performance at the Tukwila Community Center - Saturday, May 9th 2015 from 9am-3pm

Earth Day Celebration with hands-on nature activities and art projects at Magnuson Park in Seattle - Saturday April 18th 2015 from 10am-2pm

West Seattle Fest is happening this weekend and there will be all kinds of music, cake eating contests, wing eating contest between police and firemen, a talent competition, a sustainability and gardening expo, face painting, free kids art activities, a kids play area with rides and games, a kids stage with Bubbleman, Caspar Babypants and more! And there will be vendor booths, beer gardens, an art showcase plus a farmers market too!

Kelsey Creek Farm Gardening Event in Bellevue - Wednesday, June 27th 2012 from 11-11:30 AM


Check out the Farm Gardening event happening at Kelsey Creek Farm. Kids can pick from a variety of seeds, plant one to take home and watch it grow just like the gardens on the farm. Then they can walk around the farm and see the plants that grow there.

FREE Caspar Babypants Concert AND Family Gardening Day at Magnuson Park's Amphitheater and Children's Garden - Friday, June 22nd 2012 from 6:30-8:30pm


This is cool! During the FREE Caspar Babypants concert in the Magnuson Amphitheater (right next to the Children Garden), volunteers from various organizations will be doing simple tasks such as mulching, watering, and tidying up the garden. They host free activities also for children during this event, such as exploring the worm bin, making nature art sculptures, harvesting and planting. Favorite child-friendly gardening activities such as spreading wood chips, refilling bird baths and puddling ponds, and watering plants are also available to do too!  


  Family Gardening Days
 
" Once a month from spring to fall, the Children’s Garden Committee and Magnuson Community Center co-sponsor special events and Family Gardening Days in the Magnuson Children’s Garden. Each summer, we also co-sponsor Family Gardening Days in conjunction with several of the Free Friday Evening Concerts in the Amphitheater.  Check our Calendar page for all the dates and details on of this year’s exciting events! "


Kids will get to see a great concert performance and help out and have fun in the garden too!


Event is located inside the Community Garden, behind the Magnuson Brig building at 6344 NE 74th St. Seattle, WA, 98115.
