Chinatown-ID Lunar New Year Festival with lion dances, martial arts, taiko drumming and lots more in Seattle - Saturday, February 21st 2015 from 11am-4pm







" Come celebrate the Year of the Sheep at the Seattle Chinatown-International District’s Lunar New Year Celebration. Over the last few years, Lunar New Year Celebration is the largest event of its kind in the region and showcases diversity, richness and culture of the Asian community. The collaboration with other neighborhood businesses/organizations it has helped draw thousands of visitors from throughout the region for a day of festivities. The celebration include traditional dragon and lion dances, Japanese Taiko Drumming, martial arts and other cultural performances on the Verizon Main StageCombined with arts, crafts and a variety of family friendly activities there is something for everyone.
Don’t forget the return of the neighborhood’s 5th Annual $2 Food Walk presented by Delta Air Lines! "

Dragon FEST in Chinatown/International District with all kinds of entertainment! - Saturday and Sunday, July 13th and 14th 2013 from 12-8pm (until 6pm on Sunday!)

This looks like so much fun...may have to do it this year! There will be Lion and Dragon dances, rhythmical Japanese taiko drumming, Chinese martial arts demonstrations, Asian drill team, Korean Dancing, Indian dance performances, and much more! Plus, $2 food and drink tastes from the local restaurants!

There is nonstop entertainment throughout the day including Lion and Dragon dances, Taiko drumming, martial arts and our fourth annual Children’s Parade Contest where kiddies can strut their best New Year’s cultural outfit on stage! Family Table Tennis (Ping Pong) at Hing Hay Park in Seattle Wednesdays and Fridays - Now through August 26th from 3-6pm





Bring your family down to Hing Hay Park in Seattle and play a few games of table tennis aka "Ping Pong". The staff at the International District Community Center will be there and will have various games and activities for the entire family to play and enjoy.
